Part-Time Finance Assistant (m/f)

Overview:

TwentyBN is looking for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to maintain all administrative and finance processes in our Toronto office, in particular invoicing, accounts payable, expense processes and checks, bank reconciliation, and travel expenses. In this role, you will be working closely with our CFO.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
  • Location: Toronto, Canada


What you’ll be doing:

  • Point of contact for our Canadian payroll and bookkeeping office, as well as external tax consultants
  • Manage and control invoice and expense process
  • Tracking of accounts receivable
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Ensure quality of data, documentation, and expense processes
  • Apply for R&D tax credits and research grants
  • Assistance for controlling and reports
  • General administration work


Who we are looking for:

  • Work experience as a Finance Assistant or similar role, genuine interest for Finance
  • Good knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping procedures and tax law
  • Flexibility and ability to cover a broad range of finance and administration tasks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Proactive and analytical, good at problem solving, self-motivated
